Hi Everyone,
WildHorse/MRD has been killing the LCV pays in various sections of T19N-R4W. I have some mineral rights in some sections of T19N-R2W and was wondering if those LCV pays extended to R2W. Can someone point me to a map that shows the known boundaries of the LCV? That would be really helpful!
Has anybody heard about Linn Energy's plans for the properties they bought from Devon in Lincoln Parish?
Thanks!
Charles

I've seen maps of the cotton valley but i've never seen one of the lower cotton valley. The cotton valley is made up of many different sand, lime, and shale layers which are sometimes defined by different names in different fields so it can be confusing. Some examples include vaugn, davis, cv a, b, c,d, cadeville, upper deep pink, lower deep pink, upper red, lower red, cv lime, cv black shale, lcv, etc. I've seen some wells drilled in richlandparish by justiss oil and gas which showedvery good pressures and IP rates in the 80 so those wellsmaybe LCV. Not sure if it matters which layer as long as the ingredients of high pressure, perm, and hydrocarbons are all there. long as the ingredients of high pressure, perm, and hydrocarbons are all there.
