Anyone noticed the very large transportation costs MRD is deducting from land owners.  Is this legal? Is this fair? Is this normal?  Seems like MRD is gauging land owners.

Thank you for posting the court paperwork, Chris. A deduction bite of 69% is highway robbery. There oughta be a law against such thievery. Glad Randall took the case and wrote the petition in a readable text. Clear and precise. Good stuff. 

Yup. They did a good job getting to the heart of it. Sure would be nice to know how it was handled.

Tuscaloosa Trend Sits On Top Of Poorest Neighbourhood For Decades - Yet No Royalties Ever Paid To The Community -- Why??

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
