With all the Haynesville Shale activity around the Ajax area, does any published information pinpoint the southern boundary?
Bob, the following are southernmost Haynesville Shale wells drilled in Sabine & Natchitoches Parish respectively:

Shell, Olympia Mills 26 #1 Well, Serial #236842, S26-T9N-R12W
EnCana, Janet Messenger # Well, Serial #237289, S8-T10N-R9W
Can anyone pinpoint the eastern boundary? Has anyone had any activity around Chestnut and Goldanna.
I don't know any more about the boundary in and direction than the next hopeful land owner but I pray that it comes 5 miles south of Coldwater. I could sure use the money and I have enough room for about 3 wells on my back 40. Has anybody got any information as to what is going on at the Natchitoches to Campti cutoff. It looks like a drilling pad is being build. Lots of trucks with what I think was Encon on the doors. Could this be a pipline operation or a pump station or what?
Lrb2, thanks for your posting. I am fairly certain the pad on the cutoff road is for a new compressor station on the Crosstex LIG Gas Pipeline (Red River System). Crosstex is expanding that system from 250 MMcfd to 350 MMcfd to provide capacity for additional Haynesville Shale production. See the following link for Encon information. Note this is their biggest project.

Any new information on when and if they will start drilling in these areas. Just wondering if anyone had any information after the Feb. 10th, meeting in Baton Rouge?
