Where did they go???

On a disucssion in this group a while back there was talk about drilling fixing to take place by Anadarko around the Powhattan exit and I was just wondering what happened to all this talk of "it could start any day"????? Can't blame it on the price of natural gas or oil, both have started climb since that time (although slowly I will admit).

Don't have any news but I do have a thought about Natchitoches Parish. What we need to happen is for Comstock to buy all existing leases and then lease up the whole parish before one of the big boys that is just playing around does so. From what I have read, Comstock KNOWES HOW TO DRILL A WELL. I still think something is going on that the average Joe is unaware of in Natchitoches Parish. Nathcitoches landowners need to lay low but get ready.

Tuscaloosa Trend Sits On Top Of Poorest Neighbourhood For Decades - Yet No Royalties Ever Paid To The Community -- Why??

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.

This area has suffered immense environmental degradation…
