Permalink Reply by Louis Decell on February 6, 2012 at 21:46 Thank you, Les. Are you aware of any brokers currently leasing in the area. I am trying to help a friend market his mineral rights on 1300 acres in Sections 4, 9, 10, 15, 16, 17 and 22, T11N-R9W.
I am in So. Louisiana and don't have contacts up in that area.
Permalink Reply by Les Bamburg on February 7, 2012 at 5:10 Louis, sorry but I do not have information regarding broker activity.
Permalink Reply by HBP on February 7, 2012 at 5:23 No real broker activity in that area at this time. Shell seems to be moving forward with that pad on LeGrande where it seems like they are positioned for Alts in the future.
Are these the "Pioneer Bank/Campbell" minerals on the east descending bank? Just curious.

AboutAs exciting as this is, we know that we have a responsibility to do this thing correctly. After all, we want the farm to remain a place where the family can gather for another 80 years and beyond. This site was born out of these desires. Before we started this site, googling "shale' brought up little information. Certainly nothing that was useful as we negotiated a lease. Read More |
