That sounds good. I had someone tell me that next year the county would be "covered up" in drilling rigs. I hope they are right.
Does anyone know how far these units are from where Palo Gaucho crosses the highway between 103 and 184? Also, does this mean that they will be drilling soon?

Any news on the Bengal well?  Speculation or factual.  Thanks

I think they are schedule to frack it this month so maybe we will know before long.  They usually put out a press release when they have something to tell.

No, there is nothing new to report on the Bengal well.  They should have a 4th quarter report coming up soon and I would expect them to announce something then.

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
