I went to the Hall location yesterday and the Attoayac construction LLC has almost finished the location and  am anxious to see the rig moving in. They tell  it will be a big rig to go 18500 ft.

Thanks for the update. Keep us posted from time to time if you don't mind.
Help me out a little, would this be between milam & hemphill or closer to lake?
it's due north of milam 7-8 miles.
om28v is right. its just past the new patroon creek bridge on Time Hall rd. I live real close and we are going back in afew minutes to see what they have done since yesterday.
I thank you both!
I just got back from the Hall location. the reserve pit is the length of all the location. They are going to soil cement the location and it will be complete. I am excited because we have a small portion of that from my grandmother. I expect the rig will be moving in in the next few days. Hope its a good one!!!!!!
Gosh, that is quick! For some reason, I thought it would be a long, drawn out ordeal like the two Federal wells have been. That is SUPER!
This is good news for Sabine County. Any new leasing activity up that way?
has the rig moved in on the Hall location?
If it was horizontal I'd agree but this is a vertical, at this juncture. Couldn't they drill it and shut it in until the line is ready?
Yes, I've heard other companies say they want the line ready to go when they perf and frac so that they don't have to shut-in. I imagine there will be a lot of "information gathering" done on this hole, don't you think? If they want to take it horizontal they probably need to figure out what interval to target.
I just left the Hall location and the rig is standing!!! It looks like they are getting ready to spud in and run casing. I was just an oilfield electrician for Anadarko but it looks like about a 2000h.p. rig. I can also see the rig across the lake and Patroon creek from our place here. Also the pipeline surveyors that are staying at Holly Park Marina said the actual starting of the pipeline would not start until the completion of this location so they would have an idea of the size of pipe for the line. I will try to keep everyone posted on what little that I know. I will be watching with anxiety!!!!
