OK... it's another vertical (sigh) to 18,500' in the Wildcat field. J. Craughan Survey, A-79 just north of Richard Slaughter Survey, A-53.

Verticals can help define the shale. One of Swepi's first wells after the Olympia debacle at Pleasant Hill the Murray was a vertical...then things kinda took off.
I know, I know, LOL! I'm just ready for that first hz. well to kick things off.
Did you see that Goodrich is the new operator on the range permits? Their latest presentation shows both wells as GDP wells. I hope they are capable.
Think we just got the answer to " sorry, nothing right now" from Endeavor and the continuing activity on the gathering line. Why 2 deep verticals so close together. Hopefully the future will see permit ammendments for laterals on both. Could another egg be hatching???
No, I haven't looked at Goodrich lately. Nice catch.

They were pretty active on the Rusk/Panola line last year but I haven't seen them doing much this year except in La.

We will have to check with Les and Skip to see how they are doing over there.
Thanks!
Good map ALongview. Slide #22 is a good one too.
Jffree1, Goodrich has kept one rig running in Louisiana in the northern DeSoto Parish / southern Caddo Parish area. They have been drilling some very good wells including two over 20 MMcfd. Part of their acreage is in a JV with Chesapeake who is drilling the wells.
Thanks for the intel Les.
AL, have you seen anything in the clerk's office regarding lease assignments to Goodrich?
I noticed they show Haynesville penetrations on their map. Does that just indicate the Haynesville is there? How do companies use that information?
