Petrohawk filing pre app. notice for one additional drilling and production unit in T-9,sect.34,R13-W....HA RA SU 71. This section joins section 3, T-8 where Comstock drilled the well at Noble.

Keith, that is right on target with what I would expect along the southern part of the Haynesville/Bossier Shale play.

Ken, yes - I believe these two sections should be similar for both the Bossier Shale and Haynesville Shale. The successful wells drilled by Comstock & Forest makes this area look good for the Bossier Shale and now just need some results from a Haynesville Shale well in the area.

I am not in LA but my family recently leased land in Sabine Section 24. I hear rumors of a well being drilled on or near Bowden road. Can anyone give me info on this?

yes they are building a location off of bowden rd on the maroney property i think chesapeak will drill it.
les b this property is located about 3 miles east of pleasant hill just at the desoto parish line. chesapeak also created 11 drilling units last week 9-11 south of pleasant hill.
