Has anyone heard anything about the well in sec4 r9 t11? It was up and producing and now i am told that there was not any production for the month of October. No one can tell me why. Just looking for any info anyone might have. Have contacted Encana and Shell but they say they don't have any info either.

Most likely temporarily shut in to install production tubing or some type of rework.

You just talked to the wrong person at SWEPI, they know what's going on.

FXEF, production tubing was installed on 5/19/10.
yea i have tried a couple of times but with the holidays it is hard to find someone there that knows what is going on.
I was told they dropped something in the well and was trying to figure out how to get it out.  Was also told they had figured it out and was supposed to start production again on December 15.  Have not heard if this happened or not.  Maybe will know something first of the year.
Great !   Thanks for the  info.. Sure hope they did get it out and started it back up again. Already missing my mailbox money!     ha ha ha

Gambler,

The audacity of those guys dropping something down your gas hole.... then taking a fishing trip.

yea i agree...  i would like to know how you drop something down a gas well?  doesnt make sense to me.
Had stuff dropped down wells before by some unknown entity. Stuff happens, evil happens, outlaws exist.

Two Dogs,

I would think they were doing some type of maintenance or workover when it happened.... not just somebody walking up and dropping something in the well. These wells are dangerous, unauthorized persons should never mess with them.

The well is not back on.  It hasn't produced since Sept 18th.  It did produce 156,000 MCF in the short time it was on in September.
Hey Pelican, Have you heard anything about this well?  Can you tell me where and how to find out the info that you get or it something that i cant have access to? Trying to get info out of Shell or Encana is like pulling teeth.

a fish stuck during workover operations. fish was removed and they are in the process of removing the wellhead so they can change the failed tubing hanger.  They will go back in with a new packer and tubing and  then put it back into production.  don't know how long that will be or take.
