Martha, they put out the IP in a press release on 12-09-10.  They have not reported any production yet so first production probably was in December or late November.  Figuring on 120 days from the end of the month of first production, that puts it in March or April unless they hold up the checks while waiting on title review for division orders.  If there are title snafus, it could be longer.

Well I don't understand a lot of this talk here and I'm trying to understand what is going on and all.This is what was posted on 12/9/2010 Houston, Dec.9, 2010( business Wire)

Crimson Exp. Inc. ( Nasdaq GM : CXPO) today announces the completion of the Gobi #2 H well ( 70% WI) in the Bruin Prospect area in San Augustine ,Texas ( County) wELL COMPLETED IN mID-BOSSIER FORMATION AT A TOTAQL MEASURED DEPTH OF APPROXIMATELY 18,000 FEET, INCLUDING A 4,400 FOOT LATERAL& 14 FRAC STAGES. iT IS PRODUCING AT A RESTRICTED GROSS RATE OF 11.7 MILLION CUBIC FEET OF NATURAL GAS PER DAY ON A 16/64 CHOKE, WITH FLOWING TUBING PRESSURE OF APPROXIMATELY 9,400 PSI. tHIS WELL IS cRIMSONS SECOND OPEATED WELL & THIRD OVERALL IN THE bRUINS pROSPECT. wE CONTINUE TO EMPLOY THE STRAGEDY OF RESTRICTING INITIAL FLOW RATES & MAINTAINING HIGHER PRESSURES, TO MAXIMIZE eSTIMATED uLTIMATE rECOVERY ( eur). wE HAVE GRADUALLY INCREASED RATE ON TH EgOBI WHILE MAINTAINING PRESSURE AT A GREATER THAN 9,000 PSI FOR THE LAST 16 DAYS, A STRAGEDY ALSO USED ON OUR FIRST OPERATED WELL, THE gRIZZLY #1 (55%wi, WHICH COMMENCED PRODUCTION AT A SIMILIAR RATE & PRESSURE AS THE gOBI.iT GOES ON AND TELLS THAT THE gRISSLEYwell has been on production for approximately 120 days, currently producing at a rate of 7.3 Mmcfpd with flowing tubing pressure of 6,524 psi on a 15/64 choke & has a cumulative production of just over 1 Bcf.

I haven't been following this thread/topic; but I just read your above post on the well stats.

 

Looks like a pretty good well to me.  I'd certainly take it (any day).

 

Congrats.  That said, I know nothing about the company, etc.

 



Anyone have any new info on Gobi 1?

Thanks so much... I was told the division order title option was in the works and am hoping to see something soon.
Gobi was completed on December 2, 2010 in the lower Bossier.  The IP was 11.973 MMcfd on a 16/64 choke with 9521# flowing pressure.
