There should be another one coming in that same area. I heard last weekend that there were two pads being built.
I saw that on GHS too jffree1, but I couldn't find the thread today. This unit might include one or both of those pads. Sounds like I need to go splorin'.
I mentioned the new pads in the "Drilling/San Augustine" discussion. JWC heard there was a pad being built down 147 toward Broaddus... just in case you take a ride, LOL.
Hmmm..... Went through Broaddus 6 times over the weekend and didn't see anything. That would be a step out for someone. Leasing was almost non-existent down that direction during the boom.
If it's true, I would suspect Encana first because of the Temple (Forestar) acreage they leased in '08.
I have a mineral lease on the EW Brown track at Denning is anything going on in that track? It is lease to EOG I live out of town and don't here any news can someone keep me inform please Thank You
Upon a review of the maps, this unit is adjacent to EOG's Bennett Unit. Anyone know why they would form a 308 ac unit and a 383 ac unit adjacent to one another? These could have been in one unit. I'm speculating the either EOG has additional acreage to add to each unit, or, possibly a provision in a lease affected what they could do. And Joe Ed Jones, these units do contain a little piece of the EW Brown Survey.
Thank you J Garrett it looks like a road trip in my furture This was my mother old Mc kinney home place on that dirt road at the Y in the road
Joe Ed, visited the location today of Common Res. 365 & 365-2. Pad complete. Common Rep. on site said LRP would be 4 wells on this site. Said 365 would be drilling in 10 days. This is in the Steadham Survey & looks like deeper action is moving south toward E. W. Brown & south of Hwy. 21. The Common 365 is very close to the Burrows 1H which is a very good producer! good luck!!!
You hear anything about the Endeavor well in Sabine, Frank?
jffreel, nothing new. Planning on calling them on 23rd. Common Rep. that I spoke to today was very knowledgeable about the entire Haynesville play and said that I would not believe what this area- Nac., Shelby, San. Aug., Sabine counties, and Sabine Parrish La. would look like in 15 Yrs. Of course, this all depends on economics as he said their cost of producing was just below $ 5.00/mcf. Said in his opinion, this area could be the largest gas field in the world! Certianly hope he is right!!! Everyone get behind T Boone and his efforts!!!
Thanks. I hope he's right.
