Good morning. I have a question maybe someone could help me with. Cabot Oil and Gas has sent us paperwork on mineral rights we inherited from our mother. The offer is 1000.00 acre and 25%. Could someone know if this is average? Thank you. SP

Can you share where the acreage is with an abstract number or survey name?  This will help others answer your question as they can see where it is in proximity to current development.

I have an offer from another company for $2,500/acre bonus, 3year lease plus 2 year extension, and 20% royalty.

But I consider this far too low, and have counter-offered for a much larger bonus, no extension, and 25% royalty.  Let's see what my result is.  My mineral rights are centered in the "triangle" of Ironosa, Clark and Kardell, so I am hopeful.

Willis, I believe I am your neighbor and am interested if you get more from them as I got the same offer.
