Greetings All,

I am seeking any information on the following situation:

I have a lease in the William Clark A 83 and Phelps A223. Lease not renewed (but continued) in May, 2025 due to producing well that we are just finding out about. Pine Wave is being very coy about the name of the well and I have no access to production numbers. Pine Wave stating division orders coming in the Fall. Does anyone have any intel about this well, a name or anything? Any information is appreciated.

Thanks

It is the Pine Wave Energy #1HB Olympia Fields

Permit and plat below

Spud 3/7/25 - no info yet available as to testing or frac

8990' lateral

Should be a good well (assuming operator doesn't do anything to mess up the frac)

Thanks so much...I appreciate the help.

No problem. It is a shame that Pine Wave is being so difficult to deal with as to information flow.

But I do agree that Fall 2025 (at the earliest) is when you will be seeing DO.

You can check the Tx RRC site under Production Inquiry to see if and when any production posts.

Nothing so far thru May 2025 (most recent information available)

Using the Pine Wave operator number (665648), you can go the "Pending" category next Month (Aug) to see if any production posts for June 2025.

I would think that a well in this area in the Haynesville Shale would be coming online in the 20 million CF per day range

Side note - the GIS mapping option in Tx RRC should show you this well on map.

Tuscaloosa Trend Sits On Top Of Poorest Neighbourhood For Decades - Yet No Royalties Ever Paid To The Community -- Why??

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.

This area has suffered immense environmental degradation…
