Tom, I couldn't reply directly to your post so I'm doing it this way.

Reply: Tom, This is how I understand what I was told. I would not say this is absolutely correct but just my understanding. Once a well comes in and royalties are paid the well operator will furnish the tax appraiser with the deciminal interest of each lessor in the well and some information on the royalty payments being made on the well (s) in the lease. This iformation is evaluated by an outside company who specializes in valuing these properties for the county appraisal districts who will then put a value on each lessor's interest in the well(s). That is what you will be taxed on.

Here is something else interesting on property taxes on a well. I looked up one and saw that in 2006 the lessor's value was $39,800 in 2007 it was valued at $22,600 and for 2008 it's down to $13,600. Might be a clue as to how much the production drops in three years. I'm sure there are a lot of variables not considered.

The No.5 will be drilled 2.2 miles south from Teague in the Brennan, T H Survey, A-58 with a depth of 13,200-feet in the Teauge (Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated) Field. The No.30 will be drilled 6.9 miles southwest from Teague to a depth of 13,200-feet in the Freestone (Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated) Field. This well will lie in the Chavert, J L Survey, A-10.

Chesapeake Operating, Inc. will drill two new wells in the Newark, East (Barnett Shale) Field. The Terry Well No.7H and the Terry Well No.8H will be drilled 11.5 miles northeast from Cleburne to a depth of 9,000-feet in the Clark, D Survey, A-138.


Leon County

The Jensen "A" Well No.5 will be drilled 4.3 miles west from Jewett in the Bear Grass (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field. XTO Energy Inc. will drill the well to a depth of 16,500-feet in the Myers, J Survey, A-542. This well may also be drilled in the Bear Grass (Pettit) Field or the Bear Grass (Travis Peak) Field.

The Holt Unit 1 Well No.6 will be drilled by Lacy Operations, Ltd. in the Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field. This well will bottom at 10,215-feet 3.6 miles northeast from Beckville in the Williams, A H Survey, A-731.


Classic Operating Company LLC will drill the Roquemore GU Well No.2 in the Carthage, South (Cotton Valley) Field. This well will be located 1.3 miles southwest from Fair Play in the Collins, W Survey, A-141 and will bottom at 10,030-feet.


Robertson County

Burlington Resources O & G Company LP will drill the Bartholomew Et Al Well No.1 in the Ici (Georgetown) Field. This well may also be drilled in the Giddings (Austin Chalk-3) Field.


In a lease 2.7 miles southeast from Calvert, in the Calvert (Cotton Valley) Field, the Callaway Partnership Gas Unit Well No.1 will be drilled by XTO Energy Inc. This well will bottom at 13,700-feet in the Smith, S C Survey, A-44.


The Skiles Gas Unit No.3 Well No.1 will be drilled by XTO Energy Inc. This well will be located 3.9 miles northwest from Hearne in the Calvert (Cotton Valley) Field. The well will bottom at 14,900-feet in the Nixon, G A Survey, A-31.


Rusk County

The Rogers, Finis Gas Unit Well LNo.6H will be drilled 3.1 miles northwest from Henderson in the Carthage, North (Bossier Shale) Field. This well will bottom at 12,000-feet in the De La Vina, J C Survey, A-41 and may also be drilled in a Wildcat Field.


In a lease six miles northeast from Cushing, in the Trawick (Pettit-Travis Peak Consolidated) Field, the Trawick Gas Unit 57 Well No.104 will be drilled by Cabot Oil & Gas Corp. This well will lie in the Button, R S Survey, A-127 with a depth of 10,000-feet.


Goodrich Petroleum Co. will drill the Billy Harris Hay Well No.1H to a depth of 18,000-feet in the Beckville�(Haynesville) Field. This well will be located 3.4 miles southwest from Tatum in the Martin, D Survey, A-526 and may also be drilled in the Beckville (Travis Peak) Field.


Sabine County

Range Production Co. will drill two new wells in a Wildcat Field. The Horton Federal Well No.1H will be drilled 8.6 miles north from Milam in the Mc Adams, J Jr. Survey, A-159 to a depth of 16,000-feet. The Frazier Federal WelL No.1H will be drilled 10.5 miles northwest from Milam in the Frazier, W B Survey, A-100 to a depth of 16,000-feet.


San Augustine County

The Angie (James Lime) Field will see the Timberstar-Weaver Well No.2H drilled by Southwestern Energy Production Co. This well will be located 5.2 miles northeast from Attoyac in the SP RR Co./Weaver, E Survey, A-614 and will bottom at 7,900-feet.


Smith County

The M. Starnes Estate Well No.1 will be drilled 0.7 miles southeast from Wiona in a Wildcat Field. This well will be drilled by OPS Group Limited to a depth of 11,700-feet in the Lagron, M Survey, A-564.


Tarrant County

Carrizo Oil & Gas, Inc. will drill the Uta "C" Unit Well No.16H in the Newark, East (Barnett Shale) Field. This well will bottom at 9,000-feet within city limits from Arlington in the Huitt, J Survey, A-703.


In a lease 2.6 miles northeast from Burleson in the Newark, East (Barnett Shale) Field, the TCU Unit Well No.5H will be drilled by XTO Energy Inc. This well will be drilled to a depth of 11,000-feet in the Little, H Survey, A-930.


The Ridglea Triangle Well No.1H will be drilled in the Newark, East (Barnett Shale) Field by Chesapeake Operating, Inc. This well will be drilled to a depth of 9,000-feet within city limits from Benbrook in the Rogers, J Survey, A-1265.


XTO Energy Inc. will prepare to drill the Sitting Bull Unit Well No.1H in the Newark, East Field. This well will be drilled 6.45 miles southwest from Benbrook in the Scragg, S Survey, A-1457. Total depth will be 11,000-feet.



COMPLETIONS

Cherokee County

The Henley Gas Unit Well No.1 is located 7.1 miles southwest from Alto in the Decker Switch Field. Chesapeake Operating, Inc. has completed this well to a depth of 12,265-feet. When gauged on a 14/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 930,000 cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Travis Peak formation.


Freestone County

The Pickett No.1 Gas Unit Well No.7 is located 5.8 miles southwest from Fairfield. XTO Energy Inc. has completed this well to a depth of 12,580-feet in the Teauge Field. When gauged on a 48/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 1.703 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated formation.


XTO Energy Inc. has also completed the McSwane Gas Unit Well No.15, the Cochrum Gas Unit Well No.19 and the Cagle Gas Unit Well No.29 in the Freestone Field. The No.15 well is located 5.7 miles southeast of Teague with a depth of 13,132-feet. When gauged on a 48/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 1.009 million cubic feet of gas. The No.19 well is located 3.9 miles northwest of Donie with a depth of 13,060-feet. When gauged on a 48/64-inch choke. The No.29 well is located 6.2 miles north of Donie with a depth of 13,275-feet. When gauged on a 48/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 1.744 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated formation.


Harrison County

When gauged on a 23/64-inch choke, the Mohon GU Well No.13H potentialed 6.410 million cubic feet of gas. This well was completed by NFR Energy, LLC 5.5 miles southeast from Hallsville in the Carthage, North Field. Production is in the Bossier Shale formation.


Hill County

The C.R. Shelby Unit Well No.3H has been completed 3.5 miles south of Blum in the Newark, East Field. Quicksilver Resources Inc. has completed this well to a depth of 13,798-feet. When gauged on an open choke, the well potentialed 2.925 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Barnett Shale formation.


Johnson County

Chesapeake Operating, Inc. has completed the 1ST Baptist Church Well No.3H and the 1ST Baptist Church Well No.2H in the Newark, East Field. The wells are located 10.8 miles north from Cleburne. The No.3H bottoms at 11,465-feet and potentialed 3.710 million cubic feet of gas when gauged on an 1-inch choke. The No.2H bottoms at 11,520-feet and potentialed 4.399 million cubic feet of gas When gauged on an 1-inch choke. Production is in the Barnett Shale formation.


The Wilson Well No.9H and the Southard Farms Well No.3H have been completed by EOG Resources, Inc. in the Newark, East Field. The No.9H well is located four miles southwest from Lillian with a depth of 11,404-feet. When gauged on a 64/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 6.942 million cubic feet of gas. The No.3H well is located 5.4 miles northwest from Joshua with a depth of 9,435-feet. When gauged on a 64/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 4.452 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Barnett Shale formation.


XTO Energy Inc. has completed the Sherry Stanford Unit Well No.2H 9.26 miles northeast from Cleburne with a depth of 12,145-feet. This well was drilled in the Newark, East Field. No test data was recorded. Production is in the Barnett Shale formation.


XTO Energy Inc. has completed the Weatherby Unit Well No.2H and the Weatherby Unit Well No.3H in the Newark, East Field. The No.2H is located 5.09 miles southwest from Mansfield with a depth of 9,732-feet and potentialed 3.737 million cubic feet of gas when gauged on a 64/64-inch choke. The No.3H is located 5.08 miles southwest from Mansfield with a depth of 10,192-feet and potentialed 5.653 million cubic feet of gas when gauged on a 48/64-inch choke. Production is in the Barnett Shale formation.


Chesapeake Operating, Inc. has completed four new wells in the Newark, East Field. The Gann Well No.4H is located 8.2 miles north from Cleburne with a depth of 11,570-feet and potentialed 4.791 million cubic feet of gas when gauged on a 64/64-inch choke. The Terry Well No.4H is located 11.5 miles northeast from Cleburne with a depth of 10,878-feet and potentialed 2.241 million cubic feet of gas when gauged on a 64/64-inch choke. The East Godley Well No.13H and the East Godley Well No.14H are located 8.9 miles northwest from Cleburne. The No.13H bottoms at 11,353-feet and potentialed 1.781 million cubic feet of gas when gauged on a 1-inch choke. The Gill Crossing Well No.2 and the Gill Crossing Well No.3 have been completed in the Newark, East Field by Devon Energy Production Company, L.P. The No.2 is located 13.47 miles northeast of Cleburne with a depth of 8,014-feet and potentialed 3.251 million cubic feet of gas when gauged on an open choke. The No.3 is located 13.48 miles northeast from Cleburne with a depth of 8,108-feet and potentialed 2.654 million cubic feet of gas when gauged on an open choke. Production is in the Barnett Shale formation.


Limestone County

The Farrar Field has seen the Ashworth Gas Unit Well No.1 completed by XTO Energy Inc. This well bottoms at 13,650-feet 14 miles southeast of Groesbeck. When gauged on a 48/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 763,000 cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley Lime formation.


XTO Energy Inc. has completed the Phillips "A" #1 Gas Unit Well No.19 in the Farrar Field. This well is located 15.8 miles southeast of Groesbeck with a depth of 13,955-feet. When gauged on a 48/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 1.624 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley Lime formation.


When gauged on a 30/64-inch choke, the Bobby Reed Gas Unit Well No.31 potentialed 1.377 million cubic feet of gas. This well was completed 13.1 miles northwest from Jewett in the Freestone Field by Berry Oil Co. The well bottoms at 12,000-feet with production in the Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated formation.


Nacogdoches County

The Jillian Kay GU 1 Well No.1 has been completed in the Douglass, West Field by Samson Lone Star, LLC. This well bottoms at 9,848-feet 6.5 miles southeast from Cushing. When gauged on a 30/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 3.927 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Travis Peak formation.


Chesapeake Operating, Inc. has completed the Southland Paper Mills North in the Loco Bayou Field. This well is loated 2.8 miles southwest from Eden with a depth of 15,317-feet. When gauged on a 20/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 3.031 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the James Lime formation.


Panola County

When gauged on a 18/64-inch choke, the Marvin Gulley Well No.21H potentialed 2.957 million cubic feet of gas. This well was completed in the Carthage, North Field to a depth of 15,068-feet by XTO Energy Inc. Location is 4.7 miles southeast of DeBerry with production in the Bossier Shale formation.


Anadarko E & P Company LP has completed the Cottle-Reeves Unit Well No.5 in the Carthage Field. This well is located 8.3 miles southeast from Carthage with a depth of 9,375-feet. When gauged on an adjustable choke, the well potentialed 493,000 cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.


Robertson County

The Corry Gas Unit Well No.3 is located eight miles northeast of Franklin in the Bald Prairie Field. XTO Energy Inc. has completed this well to a depth of 14,450-feet. This well was gauged on a 48/64-inch choke and potentialed 1.099 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated formation.


Rusk County

When gauged on a 79/64-inch choke, the Sparkman Gas Unit Well No.3 potentialed 1.721 million cubic feet of gas. Enervest Opreating, LLC has completed this well 1.73 miles northwest from Minden in the Brachfield, Southeast Field to a depth of 10,850-feet. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.


SandRidge Exploration and Production, LLC has completed the Cherokee Water Company Unit Well No.15 and the Cherokee Water Company Unit Wel No.16 in the Oak Hill Field. The wells are located 6.2 miles northwest of Tatum. The No.15 bottoms with a depth of 11,132-feet. When gauged on a 40/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 3.054 million cubic feet of gas. The No.16 bottoms with a depth of 10,965-feet. When gauged on a 32/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 1.768 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.


Shelby County

The O.L. Guy Travis Peak Unit Well No.14 has been completed 2.7 miles east of Joaquin with a depth of 11,531-feet. XTO Energy Inc. has completed this well in a Wildcat Field. The well was gauged on a 48/64-inch choke and potentialed 453,000 cubic feet of gas.


Tarrant County

XTO Energy Inc. has completed the Euless D Unit Well No.D 4H, the Lowery Unit Well No.3H and the Carter SE Unit Well No.B 14H in the Newark, East Field. The No.D 4H well is located 2.6 miles southwest from Euless with a depth of 11,554-feet. No test data was recorded. The No.3H well is located 1.1 miles southeast from Kennedale with a depth of 11,133-feet. When gauged on a 16/48-inch choke, the well potentialed 5.149 million cubic feet of gas.


The No.B 14H is located within city limits of Fort Worth with a depth of 9,730-feet. When gauged on a 26/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 2.946 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Barnett Shale formation.

Bosque County

Expro Engineering will drill the Buffalo Run Ranch 1 five miles southwest of Walnut Spring in the Newark, East (Barnett Shale) Field. It will bottom at 8,999 feet in T.H. Dryden Survey, A-218.


Cherokee County

In a lease 2.3 miles northwest of Jacksonville, in a Wildcat field, the Campbell 1 will be drilled by Parten Operating. This well will lie in J Pineda Survey, A-40, at 5,200 feet.


Parten Operating will drill the HD Industries 1 in a Wildcat field to 5,200 feet, 4.3 miles southwest of Jacksonville in J. Merrill Survey, A-564.


Dallas County

The West Capro 3H will be drilled 15.1 miles southwest of Dallas in East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field. Chesapeake Operating will drill to 9,000 feet in the W.H. Beeman Survey, A-126.


Freestone County

The Freestone (Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated) Field will see the T.H. McWatters 45 and C.A. Newsome Estate Well 35 drilled by XTO Energy. The 45 well will be 3.6 miles northwest of Donie in the G. Lamb Survey, A-402, to 14,000 feet. The 35 well will be drilled 3.2 miles northwest of Donie in J. Newsom Survey, A-480, to 12,800 feet.


XTO Energy will drill Reed Gas Unit No. 4 Well 10 in Teague (Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated) Field. This well will bottom at 12,900 feet in the H.T. George Survey, A-256, 5.2 miles southwest of Fairfield.


Gregg County

In a lease 8.2 miles east of Longview, in a Wildcat field, Shoco Production will drill Gage Well No. 1 to 11,000 feet in the F. Thorn Survey, A-5.


Johnson County

Chesapeake Operating will drill McMurry 2H and 3H in East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field. The wells will bottom at 9,000 feet, 13.1 miles north of Cleburne in the S.H. Evans Survey, A-991.


Leon County

Weldon Cox Gas Unit Well 2H will be drilled five miles northwest of Jewett in Bear Grass (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field by XTO Energy.


This well will hit 18,500 feet in W.F. Gray Survey, A-296. The well may be drilled in Bear Grass (Pettit) or Bear Grass (Travis Peak) fields.


Limestone County

Morehead 1 will be drilled 15.8 miles northwest of Franklin in a Wildcat field. O'Benco will drill to 12,800 feet in the J.E. Lewis Survey, A-326.

In a lease 2.6 miles northwest of Beckville in Beckville (Cotton Valley) Field, the Glovier Hamilton Well 18 will be drilled by Texas American Resources to 10,810 feet in W. Hamilton Survey, A-272.

XTO Energy will drill the J. Mary Watts Gas Unit Well 9 in the Bald Prairie (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field. This well will be drilled 16.6 miles northeast of Franklin in the M. De La Concepcion Marquez Survey, A-25, to 13,600 feet.


Rusk County

The Dudley 1 will be drilled 2.4 miles southeast of Kilgore by Katy Resources. This well will bottom at 12,000 feet in the L. Landers Survey, A-477 in a Wildcat. The well may also be drilled in the Danville (Travis Peak-Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field.


Shelby County

The Blackstone PB 1H will be drilled 13.5 miles southeast of Center in a Wildcat field. St. Mary Land & Exploration will drill to 13,200 feet in the N. Davis Survey, A-147.


Samson Lone Star will drill the Oswalt 1H in Waskom (Haynesville) Field. This well will be drilled one mile south of Huxley in the J. Haley Survey, A-291 to a 13,000 feet.


In a lease 6.14 miles northwest of Center in a Wildcat field, the Haley 1 will be drilled by Burk Royalty. This well will bottom at 15,000 feet in the B. White Survey, A-762.



COMPLETIONS

Freestone County

Zeno King Gas Unit II wells 4 and 6 and Orand Gas Unit 1 Well 6 have been completed in Teague Field by XTO Energy. The King 4 is of 2.8 miles northeast of Teague at 12,616 feet and potentialed 1.010 million cubic feet of gas on a 18/64-inch choke. The King 6 is of 1.9 miles northeast of Teague at 12,431 feet and potentialed 489,000 cubic feet of gas on a 48/64-inch choke. The Orand 6 is of 1.3 miles northwest of Fairfield at 12,846-feet and potentialed 621,000 cubic feet of gas on a 48/64-inch choke. Production is in Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated.


On a 48/64-inch choke, the A. Blount Well 3 potentialed 656,000 cubic feet of gas. This well is of 2.8 miles north of Fairfield at 12,563 feet. Valence Operating completed the well in the Nan-Su-Gail Field. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated.


Gregg County

Danville Field has seen the Judge Daniels wells 24 and 13 have been completed by Samson Lone Star. The 24 is 2.5 miles east of Kilgore at 10,910 feet and potentialed 3.021 million cubic feet of gas on a 34/64-inch choke. The 13 is 2.5 miles east of Kilgore at 10,910 feet and potentialed 2.496 million cubic feet of gas on a 34/64-inch choke. Production is in Travis Peak-Cotton Valley Consolidated.


Harrison County

The Oak Hill Field has seen the E.C. Johnston 01 completed by NFR Energy. This well is of 2.30 miles southeast of Longview at 12,300 feet. On a 30/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 575,000 cubic feet of gas. Production is in Cotton Valley.


NFR Energy completed the Winston Heirs GU Well 02 in Waskom Field. This well is of eight miles northwest of Waskom at 11,337-feet and potentialed 834,000 cubic feet of gas on a 23/64-inch choke. Production is in Cotton Valley.


Forest Oil completed the Charlie Bell Gas Unit 2 Well 1H in the North Carthage Field. This well is four miles southeast of Marshall at 14,832 feet. This well was gauged on a 24/64-inch choke and potentialed 1.431 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in Bossier Shale.


The C.M. Abney B Well 22H is 2.1 miles southwest of Waskom in the Waskom Field. Devon Energy completed this well to 15,214 feet. On adjustable choke, the well potentialed 1.684 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in Haynesville.


Howell O&G completed the L.D. Brown 5A and 6A in Gooch Field. The 5A bottoms at 7,500 feet, six miles east of Harleton. On 10/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 225,000 cubic feet of gas. The 6A bottoms at 8,500 feet, 10.1 miles northwest of Marshall. On 10/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 310,000 cubic feet of gas. Production is in Gant Formation.


The Cox H Well 1H is of 3.7 miles south of Marshall in North Carthage Field. Comstock Oil & Gas completed the well to 15,424 feet. It potentialed 8.344 million cubic feet of gas on a 26/64-inch choke. Production is in Bossier Shale.


Johnson County

The East Newark Field has seen XTO Energy complete three wells. Lewis Unit No. B 3H is 5.3 miles north of Alvarado at 10,184 feet. Gene Estes Winery Unit Well 1H is of 3.87 miles southwest of Burleson at 9,608 feet. No test data was recorded for these wells. The Summit Unit Well 1H is of 3.9 miles northeast of Briar Oaks at 8,575 feet and potentialed 3.138 million cubic feet of gas on a 35/48-inch choke. Production is in Barnett Shale.


Burlington Resources completed the Burleson NW Unit Well 3H in East Newarkt Field. This well is eight miles southwest of Burleson at 10,415 feet and potentialed 1.469 million cubic feet of gas on a 20/64-inch choke. Production is in Barnett Shale.


The East Newark Field has seen the Burleson NW Unit 2H completed by Burlington Resources. This well is eight miles southwest of Burleson at 10,412 feet. On 20/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 1.872 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in Barnett Shale.


Chesapeake Operating completed the Terry Well 5H, Kinnear 2H and Chevy 1H in the East Newark Field. The 5H is 11.5 miles northeast of Cleburne at 9,168 feet and potentialed 2.707 million cubic feet of gas on 64/64-inch choke. The 2H is nine miles north of Cleburne at 10,900 feet and potentialed 2.792 million cubic feet of gas on 1-inch choke. The 1H is of 2.4 miles north of Cleburne at 11,720 feet and potentialed 4.835 million cubic feet of gas on 1-inch choke. Production is in Barnett Shale.


There have been five wells completed by Chesapeake in East Newark Field. The Chevy 2H is 2.4 miles north of Cleburne at 11,869 feet and potentialed 5.066 million cubic feet of gas on 1-inch choke. The East Godley 12H is 8.4 miles northwest of Cleburne at 9,862 feet and potentialed 2.477 million cubic feet of gas on 1-inch choke. East Godley 14H is 8.9 miles northwest of Cleburne at 8,960 feet and potentialed 1.103 million cubic feet of gas on 1-inch choke. Holly 4H is of 9.2 miles north of Cleburne at 10,099 feet and potentialed 3.183 million cubic feet of gas on 1-inch choke. Holly 6H is 9.2 miles north of Cleburne at 10,077 feet and potentialed 1.790 million cubic feet of gas on an 1-inch choke. Production is in the Barnett Shale.


EOG Resources completed two wells in East Newark Field. The Bransom 4H is of 3.9 miles southwest of Burleson at 9,818 feet and potentialed 2.010 million cubic feet of gas on a 64/64-inch choke. The Bransom 3H is of 3.7 miles southwest of Burleson at 10,330 feet and potentialed 3.891 million cubic feet of gas on a 64/64-inch choke. Production is in Barnett Shale.


Leon County

The Little 4 Ranch Well 3 has been completed 4.7 miles southwest of Wealthy in the Hilltop Resort Field by EnCana Oil & Gas. The well bottoms at 17,850 feet and potentialed 20.412 million cubic feet of gas on a 20/64-inch choke. Production is in Bossier.


Limestone County

The Doss Gas Unit Well 24 is of 13.4 miles northwest of Jewett in Freestone Field. Berry Oil has completed this well to 11,900 feet. This well was gauged on a 48/64-inch choke and potentialed 649,000 cubic feet of gas. Production is in Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated.


Marion County

The Blackstone 1 is of three miles north of Karnack in North Carthage Field. Forest Oil Corp. completed this well to 11,020 feet. When gauged on a 18/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 102,000 cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Bossier Shale formation.


Nacogdoches County

The Gwendolyn GU 1 Well 11 has been completed by Samson Lone Star in the West Douglass Field. This well is 11 miles northwest of Nacogdoches at 10,650-feet. When gauged on a 30/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 3.144 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in Travis Peak.


XTO Energy completed the Barfield-Ward Well 1H. 0.7-mile northeast of Martinsville in the Southeast Martinsville Field. This well was completed to 13,036 feet and potentialed 1.290 million cubic feet on a 16/64-inch choke. Production is in the James formation.


When gauged on a 16/64-inch choke, the Ruth Stewart 1 is potentialed 281,000 cubic feet of gas. This well was completed 3.7 miles southeast of Martinsville in a Wildcat field. This well bottoms at 13,330 feet.


Panola County

When gauged on adjustable choke, the Priestly Holmes Gas Unit Well 20 potentialed 968,000 cubic feet. Anadarko drilled six miles southeast of Carthage to 9,400 feet. Production is in the Cotton Valley.


The Cunningham 6 is 4.2 miles west of Beckville in Beckville Field. Classic Operating drilled to 10,468-feet. On a 28/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 1.656 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley.


Anadarko completed the Searcy Gas Unit Well 13 in West Beckville Field and the CGU 16 Well 16 in the Carthage Field. The 13 is of 9.1 miles northwest of Carthage at 10,175-feet. On adjustable choke, the well potentialed 882,000 cubic feet of gas. The 16 is of 5.1 miles northwest of Carthage at 9,741 feet and potentialed 1.147 million cubic feet of gas on adjustable choke. Production is in Cotton Valley.


Robertson County

The Bald Prairie Field has seen XTO Energy complete the Carter Gas Unit 1 Well 10 and Barnett Gas Unit Well 1. The 10 is 9.2 miles northeast of Franklin at 13,200 feet and potentialed 1.093 million cubic feet of gas on 48/64-inch choke. The No. 1 is five miles northeast of Hearne at 15,050 feet and potentialed 1.562 million cubic feet of gas on a 26/64-inch choke. Production is in Cotton Valley Consolidated.


When gauged on a 48/64-inch choke, the Moss Gas Unit 1 potentialed 383,000 cubic feet of gas. This well is of 4.50 miles southwest of Hearne at 14,500 feet. XTO Energy completed this well in the Calvert Field. Production is in Cotton Valley.


O'Benco completed the TXU 4 Well 2 in the Bald Prairie Field. This well is of 14.7 miles northwest of Franklin with a depth of 11,955-feet. When gauged on a 18/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 2.208 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in Cotton Valley Consolidated.


EnCana Oil & Gas completed the South Ingram Unit Well 1 and Redden Unit Well 2. The 1 is 10.2 miles southeast of Franklin in the Hilltop Resort at 17,902 feet. When gauged on 20/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 3.408 million cubic feet of gas. The 2 well is of 8.8 miles northeast of Franklin in the John Amoruso Field at 15,850 feet. On 12/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 2.016 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in Bossier.


Rusk County

NFR Energy completed the Pitner GU well 02 in Oak Hill Field to 11,980 feet. This well is of 2.36 miles northwest of Henderson. On 42/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 2.659 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in Cotton Valley.


When gauged on open choke, the Betty Kinney 1 potentialed 93,000 cubic feet of gas. This well is seven miles east of Reklaw in Wildcat field. This well bottoms at 12,638 feet.


San Augustine County

The Cecilia Boles 1H and Timberstar-BP-Railroad 153 1H have been completed by Southwestern Energy in Angie Field. The Cecilia Boles 1H is 5.4 miles north of Attoyac at 13,283 feet and potentialed 8.161 million cubic feet of gas on a 40/64-inch choke. The Timberstar-BP-Railroad 1H is five miles northeast of Attoyac at 7,421 feet and potentialed 7.650 million cubic feet of gas on a 39/64-inch choke. Production is in James Lime.


Shelby County

The Palmer Unit Well 1 is five miles southwest of Center in Stockman Field. This well was completed by Devon Energy to 12,354 feet. This well was gauged on adjustable choke and potentialed 450,000 cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley.


Smith County

The L.B. Brady Well 1R is 3.6 miles east-southeast of Sandflat in a Wildcat field. Lehnertz-Faulkner completed this well to 14,861 feet. When gauged on a 0.25-inch choke, the well potentialed 129,000 cubic feet of gas.
