Annual pilgrimage for information in Shelby County...

While I notice it seems that a lot of the activity in Shelby County has dropped off somewhat I have a couple of questions that maybe someone can help me with.� First a little background we have 44 acres of Mineral Rights in the James English #186 Abstract.� Also in the lease it mentions the J Biggars abstract.� We had a lease with St Marys until late 2011. When our lease expired there was a little interest in renewing it but that went away. While I know gas at $2.85 wont drive the Gas companies to lease and drill what is the general idea on future gas development in Shelby County? Any insight by people with more knowledge than me would be welcomed. I know that it appears that Shelby County has just dried up and blown away but how much of that is caused by the price of natural gas right now and how much is caused by the Haynesville Shale not producing as it should?

Eric--there is no drilling in any of the dry gas formations in the state. Sad to say the Shale in this part of state has no liquids with gas. There are two shale wells in the survey one by EOG and other by St Mary's that are just somewhat be ok -- the EOG wells has made about 1.8 Bcf in two years but down to < 1mmcfd. The other only 1.3Bcf---these are marginal to pay out or not with time for operator. You have gas here and one day they will be back in this area but who knows when-- maybe 10+ years. Nat Gas prices will increase but many more places in County to drill that maybe better for $.

Eric is this near Tx Seven ans Flat Fork Creek? (just a wild guess as SM. has a lease there that never got drilled or I think I may have read that).

Hi MARG---- do you know if the Batts well drilled by Classic been frac yet?
