4mmcfdd

As has been the case with all of Devon's recent wells, they have not reported the choke size and have instead only listed that the test was performed on "Adjustable Choke".

could be they are under producing for a couple of reasons. 1) they could still be trying to gain leases 2) low gas prices 3) restricted flow for improved long term performance... also it just might not be that good . for a horizontal well, i think 7mmcfd to be the minimum standard. IMHO & IDK

Where exactly is this well located in the C.C. Tutt 726.....what are the nearest towns, etc.?
How do you get to the platt on this well?
Can you please put it on this site?
Thanks for the platt. It's unbelievable as to how close that is to my property.
Yes, That is the Devon well that is just below your own area. Devon also had a decent shallow James Lime well, their Snell 1-H, that tested at 3.5 mmcfd just a little bit to the West of y'all.
Thanks, David.
Hello, I am new to this but here it goes. I had a landman contact me in regards to the Motley well. It seems I have some mineral rights and have NO idea how to go about the process. I received a letter with a "bonus" check to sign a lease. Is this typical? I have several questions if anyone has the time. Thanks
Did they let you know how many mineral acres you have?

If you are one of the last remaining unleased interests in the tract it should offer you a bit of bargaining power with regards to what lease bonus you settle for and with respect to what protections you can negotiate into the contract terms of your lease.

Also, take a look at the location platt for this Motley well in the following link:

http://webapps.rrc.state.tx.us/dpimages/img/700000-799999//PR000075...

Do you know which tract/tracts on this platt are included in your mineral acres?

You would have an even stronger negotiating position if your minerals are in one of the tracts where the lateral bore for the Motley well travels through.
Has anyone received devision orders on this well?
some are already getting checks
