Is it normal to get a W-9 to fill out and send back before you get Division Orders? Do you HAVE to have the DO's in order to get a check??

We had to do W-9's first thing after signing the lease.  Whether there is an order about the paper work. I'm not sure. We were dealing with Southwestern but they sold the deep well rights to XTO, so the process was doubled.  Who are you signed with and where are you located?  We have a well going in the James Rowe survey near Patroon.  Any news from this area, anyone?  We are out of state.

Yes, you do have to sign the DO in order to receive a check. We had several wells togehter

and did sign a DO;they then added another well to that and we did NOT get a DO. We were told

that that was acceptable. There were no problems.
