Anybody know anything about XTO Bull Unit or Cardinals Unit being drilled  in what I think is their Rascal Prospect in Shelby County?  I was recently told by someone at XTO that a rig was on the way for the Bull Unit; then he thought when that well was finished, the rig would most likely be moved to drill the Cardinals Unit probably late in January or early February.  Anyone else have mineral interest leased in the George Neil Survey and have anymore information on what's happening there?  Thanks.

Hello Dennis, My family was approached reguarding 46 acres of land six miles south of Shelbyville. My great great great grandfather J H Jordan use to own land there and sold it in the 1920's. In fact he also sold some of his land for the Rather Cemetery, according to the old land deeds. I know it was part of the George Neil Survey. Any way, the title company seemed to be in a hurry for information but as of last week; it went to "I will get back with you later, he had to move on to something esle." We do not have mineral interest leased at this time. Since this is all new to me, What is the Cardinals Unit? And where is it located at? Thank you for your time.
when we were approached a couple of years ago about leasing, it was called the Rascal Prospect. It's in Hurstown across the street from a church (if that church is still there, we haven't been up that way in quite some time; but I've heard a lot of things have changed in that area). XTO told us the well that's going to be drilling will probably be called the Cardinals #1 Unit. This will be after the Bull Unit well is drilled (which he said the rig was on the way to that location). I was also told there are many good gas wells all around this location, so we are hopeful that the well drilled where our mineral interest is will be a good one too.
Thank you Dennis so much for the info. Please stay in touch. And I will too. Have a great day.
