I just wanted to ask if anyone is getting paid on a monthly basis yet from all of this activity or is all this activity just drilling and getting ready but not producing any income yet?

Thanks for your time.

Where are you located and who are you with?
1st grade teacher, i am leased with devon and xto. both have been pretty good to deal with. in both cases, checks started coming about two months after production began. i am about 11 or 12 miles S/SW of center or about 3 miles north of county line..(nach., san aug., and shelby).

Hi King John

Glad to hear someone is.
Are you above or below Center?

I was beginning to think that everyone was still in the drilling and pipeline laying stages.

DPS
below, out by lake pinkston. one well has been paying since September a year ago, and the other since February. where are you located in the county?

We have plots in 14 different surveys but only 1 of those is below Center.
Hopefully we'll hear that someone above Center is getting paid.

Hope you don't mind me asking but are they drilling enough to send you monthly checks? We have some very old oil wells on a few of ours that send us yearly checks, usually less than $50.
yes, DPS. i am still getting monthly checks. one of the units had an old cotten valley well. before the new well a year and a half ago, i too was only getting checks once or twice a year. most of the companies will not send the checks if it's under a certain amount.

I had a check in December--only one for under $1000. The well supposedy had been producing for about 4 months. All I got was the check and no indication of what was pulled out or anything. I am of the opinion that it is just the drilling but shutting it down. I was told that this was not a great well. How do I know? We get no information from the oil company. It is like pulling a bad tooth--you ask and you are told it is coming.
amigo, that sounds pretty strange. who is the operator? have you checked the states website? is the well shut-in?
kj
Hi Amigo1

Were you aware that you where in a unit before your check arrived?
I'm like you, in that I hear nothing from the companies.
