Does anyone know of any talks going on about the Bobo area of Shelby County right now?

We tried to do some leasing in that area a month or so back but most everyone we talked to wanted way to much bonus money.

Most maps show this area to be outside of the haynesville so it's hard to justify paying high amounts.
If this area is outside of the Haynesville Shale area then what part of shale is it.....This area has been considered very hot, dnt understand why there is no activity....Which company do you wk for
Adam, what company do you work for. Myself and Keith who also replied to this thread would love to get with you and talk.
Send me a PM and we can talk some more. I think it is against site rules for me to post who I work for.
Could you post a map showing the Bobo area outside the HS? I know there is a fine line around there, but there also is at least one company still negotiating leases just to the east of there.
Here is an interesting find for you techno-readers.

Lot of geo charting.
This is a map from Petrohawk's presentation.

... although, your post seems to have conveniently left out Petrohawk's map of the Lower Bossier potential.

Here's PHK's March 22, 2010 presentation:

Check out Page 17 as it does include your area in the W.Nail Survey within the boundries of prospective Lower Bossier reserves. PHK is also saying to their investors that they expect EUR's of 5.5 BCF average from their Lower Bossier wells within that ring.
First test scheduled Q1 2010...Help me somebody...When is this?
Q1 means 1st quarter of 2010 so it should be under way.
Here's EOG's most recent Haynesville/Bossier presentation from yesterday:

http://www.eogresources.com/media/slides/ac_hb0410.pdf

Pages 5 and 6 show that region of Shelby outside of the "Sweet Spot" but still on the fringe areas for Haynesville production.

Page 7 shows that the area is within the productive area for Bossier.
I have seen several recent maps showing that strip right through the middle of shelby county with fringe areas also. I thought maybe someone knew something not public.
