Does anyone have any updates on Whitton or on the land surrounding it? Just curious as to how the gas lines are looking (size & direction) and if there are any new changes in the area surrounding Whitton? Thanks :-)

The Whitton well produced 69,377 Mcf in May for an average of approximately 2.24 Mcf per day. It averaged 3.66 Mcf in April, its first full month of production.
Curious to know what a couple of you think of this production and decline? Good/bad/decent? At what point will the decline level off?
CE... good question... some of our family wells have seen 35 - 40% decline in Nac and Shelby, but only about 20% down in San Augustine. Also, have we ever heard what Whitton is choked down to? One of our fellow Shalers Emailed me and said it is on a 12/64 choke(?) so I would assume that decline rate would be impacted by that setting(?)
If one of 'those with more knowledge' Shalers could let us know, it would be appreciated!
Thanks!
June production numbers were 46,204 Mcf for a daily average of 1.54 Mcf per day.
July numbers:

32,616 Mcf for a daily avg. of 1.05 Mcf.
that sure is rapid decline
From what I have read and heard, these well are expected to decline by about 85% in the first year. This one started at 3.66 a day in April. An 85% decline would get it down to about 550,000 in one year. It looks like it might get to 550,000 in less than a year. I have also heard that this well had some mechanical problems that may make it atypical.
You guys may already know this but I was just told about this site.

If you have your Devon owner number, you can view your royalties before they are paid.
Yeah, but sometimes our numbers do not jive with what they say and what we have actually been getting in the Royalty checks.

Close and in the basic ballpark, but not dead on by any means.
