EOG changed there mind just after premitting this well EOG said would not drill it because of results of Harvey #1(CHK's Well-their 1st Shelby well) and the Walkins #1(EOG's Well). There where problems in the completion of these wells especially the Harvey #1H. The Walker #1 now has rig drilling on it surface casing set last week 1/27/10 so maybe this shale area is still going to be OK. Good new for mineral owners around these wells. All 3 are H Shale wells

jffreel--RBH-----got it thanks to you both
It was permitted 1/15/09 as a wildcat but reported in the E. Tx. Drilling Report as N. Carthage (Bossier Shale) on 29 Nov. w/ IP of 3.550 MMcfd.
thanks adubu and jffreel
jffree1---any one with news on the Walker #1H? Has it been Frac? Rig been off site for few weeks now.
Yes, the rig has been gone for several weeks. But two points to consider are that this in an EOG well and they are in no hurry to disclose anything about their well results and, also, Cabot stated in their 4Q conference call that there had been a bit of a back long in getting wells completed in E. Tx. due to not having enough pumping crews and frack equipment in the area. I don't know how much that is affecting Shelby County but it was slowing things up in San Augustine at that time (mid-Feb.).
that maybe the problem-- I know of Travis Peak well over in Nacogdoches county that was completed last week and they said it would be several months waiting in line for frac crew
will they just drill one hole on that lease. what about the Minerals owners that are around this lease.
Where are these wells?
Where is the Mary Harris 1H Well?
