T5 Smackover - Continuous acreage

Our land is pretty much surrounded by Standard Lithium— in fact, I think I’m landlocked.

A new-to-me company in our area is offering me a lease and saying they can get to my property in creative ways. Where can I find the TRRC rules on continuous acreage?

Could it be geothermal and a brine well? I got to see it yesterday and they spoke of both.

I don't think so.  I doubt that the depth of the Smackover is sufficiently deep to access the bottom hole temperature that would be required for a geothermal electrical generation plant.  Shallower depth could support heating and cooling systems but for electrical generation you would need somewhere in the neighborhood of a 400 degree Fahrenheit bottom hole temperature.  That's why the announcement doesn't make sense to me without some additional detail.
