OK, I've been seeing the error occasionally for a while, and more frequently lately.

Go to the sonris web site. Go to the interactive map.

http://sonris-www.dnr.state.la.us/www_root/sonris_portal_1.htm

Zoom in. Activate some layers, in particular oil/gas wells. Turn on the "identify" pointer.

The Query/Selection window pops up. Sometimes it's got the appropriate data, sometimes it says "about:blank" and is blank. If I click again, I may get an answer, I may not.

Does anyone else see this problem? Any solutions/workarounds/clues?

I just tried and "THE WEBSITE CANNOT DISPLAY THIS PAGE" popped up. Sounds like it is them who has the problem.
Killing Internet Exploder and restarting seems to help.

It may be that if I start adding layers, the problem gets worse.

Once it's broke, it usually stays broke until I kill IE and restart.
FWIW, I don't see this any more. Perhaps it was server overload problems.
