S09-T16N-R15W has two wells permitted. One laterals to S03-T16N-R15W the other to S04-T16N-R15W. Is it possible to drill additional wells and lateral into section 9 & 10? Four well per pad site?

Skip,

Thanks for the reply. Any chance that Goodrich will lateral into section 10 from this pad site?
I think St. Mary Land & Exploration would not take kindly to Goodrich drilling a lateral into their HA unit.
Skip,

Is there a way to check on Sonris the sections that an operator has unitized?
There is not a list as such. You can go through the public hearing schedule application by application and pick out the HA units but it's easier to just ask me or Les B. My list goes back to January, 2007.

What is the info that pops up on SONRIS Lite in the Well Information box when one uses "Wells by Organization Name?' Is that just their operated wells but not units?

Thank yooouuuuuu!!!! 80)
Yes.
Skip, I'm new to this but looks like St. Mary Land and Exploration unitized sections 3, 4, and 10 in application 09-727 July 2009.

Goodrich is drilling wells from section 9 and lateral to section 3 (ser#2403420) and section 4 (ser#240547).

I assume that St. Mary has designated Goodrich as unit operator as per item #3 in the application.

Just wondering if this same rig could lateral into section 10 from same pad in section 9?
You are correct. It is not that rare to find one company drilling a well in a section under unit order to another. The company holding the unit order has the ability to designate the operator of the unit. Yes, a rig in Section 9 could drill a lateral in Section 10.
I live in section 9 and am NOT under any contract agreement. What is the likelyhood of this company actually drilling IN section 9.
Impossible to know without doing a lease search for that section.
FXEF, maybe not the same drilling rig but a rig placed on the drilling pad. I belive not only possible but very likely given SML operates the Section 10 Haynesville Unit. I would assume SML elected to have Goodrich drill the wells due them having a drilling rig available and also Goodrich's JV with Chesapeake in the area. It will be interesting to see who drills the well in Section 10.
