We have 700 contiguous acres in T21N R3W Union Parish & 21N R4W in Claiborne Parish.

We have always sold some good leases in the past for good bonus, but in this latest surge by

PineBelt, etal, we have received only minimal interest with offers not approaching the top dollars I have seen in our area.  Could someone please supply me with names and phone numbers that I might contact about our acreage.  This will be greatly appreciated & I hope I can return the favor

in the future.  Skip, I am especially interested in your take on this.

william, there seems to be a connection between Schoeffler Energy and the leasing underway in the Columbia County, AR. townships by Triad. I'm not suggesting anything shady but it is unclear what company is behind the leasing and just what prospect is the subject of the leasing. A client recently asked me to look into the leasing in Columbia County where they own substantial interests. I am still gathering information and have advised the client not to sign a lease at this time.
Received a good lease offer yesterday for a small amout of acreage near Spearsville, La. from Expresso Energy out of Houston. 11/30/2010

JIM B., My offer was $300/acre, 1/5 th, 4 year lease with 3 year option, & standard clauses I chopse to put in. (Pugh clause, depth clause, no cost to landowner for production & transporting costs, damage clause, & other standard stuff). If I had more acreage on this place I would probably take offer, but I am trying to lump this spot, near Spearsville, with more acreage I have west of there, but still in Union & Claiborne Parishes.
