An initial Mitsui E&P USA’s test of the western Haynesville IP’ed up to 39 MMcf/d on the eastern edge of play founder Comstock Resources’ 540,000-net-acre position.

Here is the completion report for this well.

Relatively short lateral (6145') compared to what Comstock is presently doing but a very good looking well based on IP info.

Almost 5200# of proppant pumped per foot at 16,600' TVD. Max frac pressure of over 13,400#.

Bottom hole temperature of 357 degrees F.

Now to see how this well produces / declines in time.

Good first "swing" for Mitsui.

Thanks, Rock Man.  The proppant load is impressive. About 30% greater than what I see in the Legacy Haynesville.
