Tell Jimbo I said hi. I been looking at these drillin rigs. Like you said, they are different from the ones we went to back in the day. No hanging and swinging kelly. I guess they torque it one way or the other to make it drill horizontal through them Haynesville Shells. I went bow huntin' last Wed. and the skeeters almost hauled me off. When I got back to the truck i had to set the flashlight on the tailgate and get away from it. They were swarming me. We were in Cody's truck and it was locked so I had to fan them off with my cap for about 20 minutes until he got there. I bought a crossbow last year. It's super fast but it makes a lot of noise. I put silencing pads and string inserts all over it but it still makes a pretty loud thud when you shoot. It's like shooting a gun. you can't miss if you hold it still. It's got a three dot aimpoint on it. I don't like it but it's all I can shoot with this screwed up neckbone. We gotta get together and jam. I want you to get with me and Chad and Pete Elder, the harmonica player. Thye've been going to Lee's on Mondays and tearing the place up. Pete is a phenominal harp player. You gotta hear him. I think if he hadn't have been raised a Pentecostal and home schooled he'd be in Nashville or LA now. Call me and we'll get together.

Hey Kid, we'll be signing with Chesapeake Thursday. I'll be glad when this is over. We've been working on it since June. JW Operating is preparing to drill a one leg horizontal from the north end of our section to the south. That'll be almost a mile of horizontal shale. I hope it's a monster and one they can produce . I need some shell cash! Me and Lana rode the motorcycle Sunday and went all down Hwy1 and out by the observatory and the old Ellerbe School. There are so many wells out there it's crazy. I even saw a truck rig on Ellerbe drilling a well. One location had 4 wells on it. They done gone nuts out there. Between Hwy 1 and the levee there's a well about every 2 or 3 hundred yards. I wish we would have known about this a couple of years ago. A friend I work with has 30 acres on Providence road. He just got a check from Chesapeake for $600,000.00 Must be nice. Maybe we can go buy some land far away but still in the HS and get rich.
