Wow! I've only heard of $1,000-$4,000 in our area per acre. Seems like everyday it goes higher and higher...especially in Caddo and Bossier. Today I heard that someone in Caddo was offered $23,000 per acrea and they turned it down. Don't know about you, but that sounds like good money to me! I'm just really afraid that alot of our neighbors will sign for little or nothing because they don't know that they can negotiate and get more. We also need to help our neighbors by letting them know that they don't need negotiators or attorneys taking their royalties or bonus money. They are forming free groups right now between snakestewart and maybe CMI right now. Watch out...the big O&G are coming. We have to spread the word that we don't have to accept that first offer and we can unite as a group and get better rates.

I'm already leased and have been for about 10 years, so I'm out of luck. But that doesn't mean that I can't help anyone. Let me know if you have any questions.

I am not sure, but I think it was Chesapeake. One of them got 6,000 per acre and I think the other is getting 7,000. A family member has talked to both of them and I am going off that.

Interesting!!!!!
What company did they sign with and what was their signing bonus? We were told that they were not interested in our area (another lie).

Tuscaloosa Trend Sits On Top Of Poorest Neighbourhood For Decades - Yet No Royalties Ever Paid To The Community -- Why??

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.

This area has suffered immense environmental degradation…
