"A prescription well would not go to the Wilcox in my opinion.  A well drilled to the shallower Frio would suffice.  Wagner must see something in the Wilcox sands in the CHK AC well they are offsetting.  "

"The rig you saw is the Wagner Crowell well.  It is being drilled for the Wilcox formation in the old Cheneyville Field.  Not sure what Wagner sees that others have not.  It must be good to be able to sustain the Crowell royalty and…"

I haven’t been on this site in several years due to lack of activity in our area.  But today I was driving through portions of Evangeline Parish (particularly the far northern portion around the community of Clearwater).  Saw a very large rig located just off the West side of Hwy 165.  I drove by the site but couldn’t see any signage with well #, name or anything else. Does anybody know anything about this activity See More
