Morning Al. I am far from being any type of expert. I am barely knowledgeable in Louisiana much less Texas. Texas does not use the same type of land layout as does LA., But usually it is 640 acres. You need to get with someone on the Texas site and ask them the same question. Sounds like though you will be in better shape that me. It may be years befor a well is in my area. Good Luck.
