Thanks for replying back, hopefully someday I will get down there. I inherited the property from a family member and it has not really ever done much. The lease is through Devon and it is an old family farm that dates way way back. Upper east part of Lincoln I believe, the well I am told is over 40 yrs old and still producing. Maybe the Haynesville Shale will reach over there on the same property and really take off.

How are things going in Lincoln as for nat gas production? I am a Colvin also who is part owner of a well in Lincoln so I was just wondering, because I have never been there.

Tuscaloosa Trend Sits On Top Of Poorest Neighbourhood For Decades - Yet No Royalties Ever Paid To The Community -- Why??

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
