recieved an offer to buy 50% royalty interest for our 865 acres in Desoto parish near Logansport. we currently have a 70% stake in the mineral rights. the offer was in the mid nine hundred thousands. just wondering if that is a low mid high offer? I know selling some of your royalty interest sounds crazy, but the news is all over the place about prices, overseas cheaper gas, capping wells, etc. thanks-Thomas

That comes out to be almost 1,100 per acre. If you look at it like that instead of nearly a million dollars it kind of looks different, at least to me. Is it already leased?

Curious, in what sections in what T&R's are your properties located in? (not being nosey, I assure you) That would help in understanding if indeed your prop is in a "hot" area. If you have MI in, say,
T11R15, with that much acreage involved, I wouldn't sell for 10 times that amount! (or maybe would, depending on the other factors involved)
