We may be small potatoes, but maybe Gov. Jindal will stop in and pay us a visit someday? I had send an email to the Chief of Staff several months ago, but you know how those things go, maybe we need 20,000 members?? What's your guess, how many members do you think we would need before the Gov cares to stop by?

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
