Suspect named in the Shooting of my Brother-in-Law

The Shreveport Times just posted this story today.

[Local websites took the story down. Go here to read http://www.capemaycountyherald.com/article/crime/52617-la.+assistan....]

"A Sabine Parish assistant district attorney is a person of interest in an ongoing investigation into the June 21 shotgun slaying of a Converse area man gunned down outside of his rural home in north central Sabine Parish. Sabine sheriff’s Det. Jack Staton today confirmed Charles D. “Chuck” Soileau is at the top of a suspect list that once had three names on it."

Please, if anyone has info that can assist the Sabine Parish Sherrif's Office, give them a call.

P.S. Here is my initial tribute to Dennis if have yet to read it.

Keith, even though I don't know you or your brother-in-law, I think about this everyday. From the pictures and what you have told us about Dennis I can't imagine him making enemies for the short time he lived near Converse. I used to have a brother-in-law that lived close to Converse so I know what a small community it is. There is always a motive for first degree murder so why would someone be waiting in the dark and how could they know he would be outside at that particular night and time. I only hope they find out who did this and that it becomes clear why a person would take a husband and father away from his family. No reason is good enough but I know it would help bring closure to you and his family. Hopefully someone will come forward and help end this investigation. It's a terrible tragedy and I extend my sympathies to friends and family of Dennis.

I had heard a couple of weeks ago that he was a suspect. This matter may get real ugly before it is over.

Saw this story this morning, at least they are making some progress in the investigation. I know it makes it hard to heal from such a tramatic loss when there is no closure. My prayers are with you and your family.
