Does anyone know anything about the well they are preparing to put in RRP, T 14N-R9W-SEC30 ?
I see it looks like they have the pad built ?, not sure about all the terminology used----just wondering if anyone knows if they are planning on completing the well while onsite or if they will come back later to drill?
Thanks,
Trisha

Thanks for your input!! I guess I am just grasping for anything I can find out, plus I honestly just find it so fascinating. My uncle, who raised me, always told me since I was a little girl---many years ago, that there was oil/gas here on our land!! How interesting, now!!

Trisha, this well is comparable to some wells permitted by EnCana in the Bracky Branch Field. I would suggest you add as a discussion forum in the Red River Parish Group.

THANKS!!! Yes, I do have acreage in this section and I'm sure you can probably tell that's why I'm so interested, as well as all my neighbors in Sec.. 30. We just haven't been able to find out anything and I know my friends keep telling me----PATIENCE!! Please pray with me and my friends for God to give me more patience.

Trisha, some have talked down about Sampsom but I think they are a good company. If you got a dog in this play, then sit back and see what happens. Best of luck to you, keep your fingers crossed. If they have built a pad it want be long before a rig comes in to drill.

Tuscaloosa Trend Sits On Top Of Poorest Neighbourhood For Decades - Yet No Royalties Ever Paid To The Community -- Why??

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.

This area has suffered immense environmental degradation…
