I was also leased to Pinkston and then Petrohawk bought the interest in the lease. I was also called by someone to release for $150acre but I told then NO. I leased to OPG for 3year, no option @ $500/acre. I hope all works well for you. I know that our area really needs that well on 947 to really come in with good #'s for our area to be worth anything again. If you want my guy's # I will be glad to give to you, he's a local boy......Laurie

Hi Linda...I did receive call from Petrohawk back some time ago but they were way off in pricing...In fact she (Petrohawk Landman) was actually trying to strongarm me bu I didn't go with them at all and went with other company. What is the offer from Petrohawk?

Tuscaloosa Trend Sits On Top Of Poorest Neighbourhood For Decades - Yet No Royalties Ever Paid To The Community -- Why??

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
