Robert, thanks for the friend request. 8N - 6W is far from current activity. I am unaware of any HA Shale related interest in your area at this time. The growth of the Play has slowed significantly and it may be a few years before we know if your area is prospective for the shale. There are about a dozen townships between your area and current unit activity and even those townships have precious few HA Wells. Patience and keeping informed on the site would be my counsel. Tuscaloosa Trend Sits On Top Of Poorest Neighbourhood For Decades - Yet No Royalties Ever Paid To The Community -- Why??

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
