It was also interesting to read in the application that they currently have a no perforation zone in tracts 10 and 18 of the unit but that the permit "... will be amended later to eliminate no perforation zones after tracts are fully leased."
Do you have the map Platt to this well? I noticed that the most recent well to be drilled out of Nacogdoches near Hwy. 7 East has a map platt that shows the property. Is there a way to get a map platt of this well? I was wondering on whose land this well is being put on. Do you know?

Tuscaloosa Trend Sits On Top Of Poorest Neighbourhood For Decades - Yet No Royalties Ever Paid To The Community -- Why??

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
