"No one ever loves you like your Mum ... even when she hit you on the bum..."

The old Outback Steakhouse commercial jingle says it well, with humor.

thanks for posting VSC - 80)
VCS - Thanks for making a post in honor of all mothers - Sesport, you are right - no one ever loves you like your mom - unconditionally - she is the one person who knows what is in your heart without you having to say one word - a loving and forgiving heart that is sad when you are sad and happy when you are happy. RIP Moma! Her best advice to me "You are no better than most and no less than most, just different life circumstances"
I can hardly believe it. My 12 year old son saved his money and gave me a ring. One of those fancy dime'n rings. It's even a big ole' honking one. I'll have to post a picture.
The best "gift" I have ever received is getting to be a Mom.

I'm gonna have to keep workin' on my spelling though.

Is it dimein ring?

I ain'ts the best speller. Keith needs to get us a spell checker ma do hickey.
Or even a spell checker whatcha ma callit - I would even settle for a spell checker thing a ma jig. LOL
There killin' me! I guess I'll just have to grin & bare it. lol 80)

parker - That's got to be the bestest, most valuablest ring in the woild, even more so than the Hope diemun. The only strings attached, unlike leases, are the ones to your hearts.
Did some price checkin - the puter store has dang good prices on a spell checker doom ma fla chi and a friend told me the cheapist way to go is with a dick sha nary - just up to how much Keith wants to spend.
Back in the 60's, their used ta be these 2 dudes named Rowan & Martin who highly recomindid one called "The Funky Waggnells." I guess the Wagnells were sum kinda funky family that cornered the markit on defeenishins.

Now, if Keith is in a pinch with his pennies, we mite consider hitting up that new sponsor guy. I 'majin by know he's tarred of tryin' to compreehen suma this stuff. Ya' know which guy I'm talkin' 'bout? The won handin' out fancy trucks to the citys and sponsirin' them fancee liberul art shows fer kids.

HEY, MISTER WHATCHAMACALL, CAN YA' SPRING FER A DICSHUNAIRY SO'S WE CAN COMMUNIKATE BETTER?

Oh, wait .... this thread is about Mothers' Day. Better start a new thread for dictionary solici ... I mean appeals.

Sesport, yur a hoot! I am appealing for one of those trucks that you do not have to shift to haul my grand youngin and Bobi's ring - a real purty one, maybe the color of tar paper and lots of doo dads.

Hope all mothers had a great day!
Shaleeee,

I like my dime-in-ring better than any ole' diamond ring.
Shalee - Shhh, I understand that we're not supposed to be encouraging me around here. Don't know how successful you'll be with your appeal, mine for the "dicshunairies" didn't get me no where.

Now, I must apologize to VSC for being a participant in a hijacking of a topic that I'm sure was meant to be most sincere and respectful. And, I also apologize to any who may be offended by the wording & intentional misspellings, especially those who find the printed word to be a challenge. I, of all people here, know that such difficulties are not necessarily an indication of levels of intelligence or thinking skills.

parker - That "dime-in-ring" is more valuable than all of OPEC's oil, it's priceless.

And so are mothers.
