There was some talk about that in the Sabine County group (I think) about a week ago.  Look for a post by ALongview to that effect.
Mike had a post in the Sabine County group under the discussion "It's quiet....too quiet" concerning Devon and Chesapeake.
Heard several months ago that Devon was pulling out of SA County.
We signed with Devon for minerals in San Augustine and recently learned that Devon still has the shallow rights to our lease and Chesapeake has the deep rights. We were not notified about this but found out when my father contacted the Landsman from Devon to find out what if anything was going on. A well has been permitted with Chesapeake ( Hatch ) in the B. B. Pickard Survey, A-493

who is your landman? mine is Butler.

He handled our lease as well, at some point last year it was passed on to someone else. We have now been referred to a Chesapeake representative.
We signed alot of minerals with Devon in 2008.  We have 3 tracts of land in the Hatch well.  Do you know if Chesapeake will assume all of Devon's leases?
The lady that we signed with is no longer working for Devon. I think that her name was Regina.
Jerri, If you signed with Devon and have lost touch with your landman - I'm guessing your best bet is to contact Devon directly to find out 1. If they still have your lease & 2. Who your contact point is.
