Thanks to Henry and Les B for their answering my first question! Now, though, I have another question (and I'm hoping it's not a stupid one!).
Am I understanding correctly that the Rig set up in S22 that will drain S-15 T-12N R-13W has ONLY been drilled? And, that it has not yet been fraced (sp?)? Or, has it been drilled AND fraced(sp?)?
Seven months with only sporadic, light-noise seems sort of like a "bad" sign to us - that the well will never be completed. But, that is typical or normal?
I am asking questions for about 35 family members so I really do appreciate your patience with us!
Thanks again for taking time to read my questions and answer them. I truly appreciate it.

Permalink Reply by Just Curious on July 22, 2011 at 17:34 Les B, thank you so much, once again, for your help and your helpful suggestions. I will keep attempting to learn how to use Sonris better. And, I will let my relatives who live near the rig site do some "ground work", if they're willing!
Thanks again, Les B. I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

AboutAs exciting as this is, we know that we have a responsibility to do this thing correctly. After all, we want the farm to remain a place where the family can gather for another 80 years and beyond. This site was born out of these desires. Before we started this site, googling "shale' brought up little information. Certainly nothing that was useful as we negotiated a lease. Read More |
