What is the general consensus as to how much recoverable reserves per well? I have heard from 5 bcf to 15 bcf. I think when all of this started, the consensus was about 40 bcf per Section but it would take 8 wells at 5 bcf each to recover it. Someone else said not that it was closer to 3 wells per Section at 15 bcf each. The section I am interested in is in S Caddo Parish. Initial Production was about 9,000 mcf per day. After 1 year it has dropped to 3,500 mcf per day. Initial Flowing Tubing Pressure was about 9,000 pounds and it had dropped to 1,000 pounds.
Thoughts, ideas, suggestions, etc will be welcome.
Thanks,
Hush Puppy

Before we started this site, googling "shale' brought up little information. Certainly nothing that was useful as we negotiated a lease. Read More |
