Heard last week about some leasing activity near the lincoln/claiborne line just south of the texas gas plant. What are you hearing?

i was told they are leasing 100k acres in webster, caiborne, and lincoln parishes.i have talked to leasing company, but do not know who they are leasing for.

they were offering 300/acre for 3 with 4 year option, but never said what they would pay for the 4yrs. do you know?

$300/acre for three years/ additional $300/acre for four-year extension.

I expect they are leasing for Southwest Energy.  That's the major player in Union and Claiborne Parishes.

I was told the company they represent was very active in the Bakken Shale?
