Could be Occidental energy(Oxy)??? They already have a large block of minerals under the Monroe gas field from what I've been told.

It could be , but I was told this lease activity is about 100k acres , Webster, Claiborne, and Lincoln.

Not lately. But I did notice this application from CSC Energy. It appears they want to drill a verticle Smackover well in the Lisbon Field T21N R4W Sec17.

Yep. Just got the same info a few days ago. Thanks for checking on that. I think Whiting's had some success in the Bakken/North Dakota shale. I wish I knew what they were going after, I'm assuming oil is the primary objective.
