I love how NIMBY is thrown around when we have objections to local communities having the autonomy of not being in love with having the O&G Industry failing to kiss their communities while they make love to them. Please note numerous municipal lawsuits and valid concerns met with stone cold arrogance and heavy handedness. When Rex Tillerson and his butt boy Dick Armey had NIMBY concerns many shills and shalers on this board had a spastic attack calling it something else. A link to a RT article about it brought derision by the then frequent shillers as it came from Russia, as if Rex Tillerson does not do business with Rosneft in a huge way? Let us not rationalize the obvious; it is NIMBY if a community as a polity have objections but if your kleptocrats have aesthetic objections it is ignored or rationalized?

This form of API/Kleptocratic arrogance coupled with the purchase of state legislators and the judiciary play a part in the slow erosion of public support or confidence in the industry.
