I'm getting my royalty checks every month from Crimson. It is still a shock every month, to get a check in the mail for doing nothing. But, it's a very happy shock. We got the last letter from Dale Energy Resources. I looked them up on the internet, and they buy for Chesapeak Oil. I figure, if they are willing to geive as much as they offered, that they know something we don't. I'm holding on to mine. I like that check every month. Alabama Fan
Martha, have you heard anything new on the Gobi well in St Augustine. We have gotton a letter wanting to pay a very large sum for part of our mineral rights. Have you received any. Something big must be going to happen at the Gobi site. Let me know if you hear anything. Thanks, Alabama Fan
Hi, Martha. I live in Cedar Bluff, Al, about 100 miles NE of Birmingham. My father, his brother and 5 sisters were left 1/2 of the mineral rights. His uncle J. Phillips sold the property to a Parker in 1929 or 1930, and retained 1/2 of the mineral rights. It's the property where crimson drilled the gobi 1 well. Thanks for your email. L. Crow
Hey, M M. I saw your shout out. There is a lot going on in San Augustine County... more rigs drilling here than anywhere else the district, at the moment. Nobody is in a hurry to complete these wells, though, with gas @ just over $4. We should start hearing about some of them when the 3Q reports come out, I think.
I wanted to let you know about our Corporate Donor program I have implemented for the site. We are looking for business partners to contribute to the on-going operations of GoHaynesvilleShale.com. You can view details by going here. Please let me know if you have any questions.
Martha, Hi!!! Yes I know some Lynchs from here but not sure if they are the same bunch..... Nancy Carol Lynch... How are Russell Lynch? Where about is your mineral land at?
Hello! I hope the site is a place for to learn, network and contribute. My name is Keith and I started the site in June of 2008 to open up lines of communication between landowners. We now have over 10,000 members.
In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of) nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
This area has suffered immense environmental degradation…
