I thought that I would try and get an idea of how many of us have not leased yet. You do not have to put your Section, but it would help. Anything else would help also, especially number of acres, section, township, range and any offers you feel like disclosing.

My last offer was from Chesapeake of $20,000 but 2 other companies have informed me they will beat that offer. My neighbors and I have approx. 35 acres.

I called the guy yesterday and today. I've only gotten his voicemail but I will keep trying tomorrow until I get him. I very anxious myself to find out the status of my section as well. I will let you know as soon as I reach him or, as soon as he starts taking my call instead of putting me through to his voicemail. LOL
Spoke with the Petrohawk landman concerning what sections they still wanted to lease. Now, the landman said that they are waiting on a map from Petrohawk that will show the sections. I will keep checking.
did they say what areas that was that they have the 160 acres? we called them last week and was told "yes we are still leasing" and took all our info. Haven't heard anything yet. How long does it take for them to get back with you?
could you email me the names of the other companies that made you an offer with names and phone numbers of the landmen. We have property in Keatchie. email is ...efon911@yahoo.com... thanks
I have called the Petrohawk landman several times and he keeps telling me that he only knows that my section is among those they are no longer pursuing at this time.

There is a discussion on this site called "List of buyers posted by the amazing Coonman" where he posted all of the websites for the o/g companies.

You may wish to submit your info that way through the websites. That is how I began receiving offers. You should include your section, township and range, parish, if you have leased previously, name address and phone number, how many acres you own and how long you have owned your property.

I think that the landmen are assigned to a certain area or section, so the landman for your friend 5 miles down the road will not be able to work on your lease but they should be able to get you to the right person who can help.

It seems that the o/g companies are interested in where your land is located and also what companies have leased in your section already.
