Was the offer you mentioned on the east side Lake Bistineau in Webster Parish or on the Bienville parish side? If Webster, can you confirm that Chesapeake made an offer?

Congrats on your deal, and thanks of your help.

I just found a map on Google Earth that have the Townships, Range and Section. Although my offer letter states R-9-W, the map indicated that we are in R-10-W (on Beckham's Camp Road),

I am in 16N 8W Sec 21. Do you mind saying what township, range and section. I called Petrohawk a couple of weeks back and they said they were leasing starting with range 9W and going west at that time. I am wondering if I should give them another call. Petrohawk. 3 year lease, 2 year option, 25% royalty.

Tuscaloosa Trend Sits On Top Of Poorest Neighbourhood For Decades - Yet No Royalties Ever Paid To The Community -- Why??

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.

This area has suffered immense environmental degradation…
